She calls herself a mere princess, but she’s just being self-deprecating.

She is a God-Empress, ruler of both this realm and the Transcendent, currently strutting through London in her four-inch heels.  We wish we had photos to show you her complete gorgeousity; suffice it to say that we, yes cute us, feel insecure and unattractive (and unintelligent) in her presence.

We wish her Everything.  We wish her life, we wish her love, we wish her happiness.  And we want to give her this.

Like participating in wild winter sports, watching Ibsen (in Norwegian) is one of the things you have to do when you’re living in Oslo. In keeping with the spirit of broadening our horizons, Trog and I saw a highly truncated version of Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre, Ibsen’s home for the last few years of his life.

Oddly enough, Trog was riveted. Monster, on the other hand, squirmed in her seat. Hedda is the female actor’s Hamlet, the role you aspire and work toward. I will not here critique whoever played Hedda, as I’m certain she is Someone Famous. All I’ll say here is: The staging was beautiful. Curtain down, lights on, and Trog and I trudged home to watch Grey’s Anatomy. I will not say it was a wasted evening; we got to check one more thing off our list.
